| We believe that long-term behavioral change can only come about through the healing of wounded spirits. This is the core of our treatment philosophy. Our staff promotes an environment of caring and acceptance, which allows and encourages our youth to search out their own belief system. Because we work to build significant, appropriate, supportive relationships with the young men and women in our care, they are also open to hearing about and respecting our own Judeo-Christian beliefs. We believe that religion should not be forced on anyone. It is important that a life-changing message be expressed and modeled to our young people compassionately and clearly. At Christian Haven, the religious background and preferences of each individual and family is respected at all times. |
